Moorings condos are some of the earliest condominiums to be built in Naples, Florida. Starting in 1956 with the Bahama Club, condominium projects peppered the Naples intercoastal and coastline through 1985. In 2003 Sancerre took the place of the first beachfront tear-down. Bella Baia followed shortly after and was completed in 2004. Most recently, La Perle slated to be completed in 2022 marks the continuation of the Moorings condominium re-design.
Many of the buildings are aging but are still well maintained but you can expect more real estate to be acquired by developers making way for new projects in the future. Most of the condos are smaller than the unit sizes in Park Shore. Original Moorings condo building policies can be strict with pet restrictions and rentals but those policies are being re-visited with newer buildings and offer more flexibility.
