Many clients I’ve worked with in the past have a preference of location and prefer Old Naples Florida properties located in quadrant “A” because they like the proximity to the beaches and being close to the shopping and dining districts of Fifth Avenue and Third Street South.
Quadrant “B” is highly acclaimed because people Love Old Naples beaches and find it to be a little less crowded. This quadrant is still right by the beach, but further across than quadrant A. You’ll find heading to the beach a more peaceful experience in this area. Enjoy the calm environment where you can enjoy your home and space.
Quadrant “C” is located along Naples Bay, where boating enthusiasts can utilize the Naples Dock and boat launch. If you are a boater, you may prefer this location over quadrants “A” and “B.” You can head out on the water for a day of sea air and sun, no time at all from your house! The Naples Sailing & Yacht club is in this area. They offer cruises that range from a nice sunset ride to a weekend journey to gorgeous destinations.
Quadrant “C” also provides proximity to Bayfront, another area where shopping, dining, and boating opportunities exist. Tin City, another tourist hot spot, is also located close by. This waterfront marketplace offers commodities such as antiques, shells, clothing, and jewelry. It’s the perfect place to head on the weekend to get some interesting finds.
Quadrant “D”, while still amazing is least favored since the hospital, other city buildings and some commercial properties are located there. However, it’s still an excellent option as it’ll only take you 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach. If you prefer to be located a little further from more of the tourist attractions of the seaside, this location will suit you well.
About Old Naples REAL ESTATE
The vintage of Old Naples homes here varies from turn-of-the-century to the present date, with architectural styles reflecting this variety of time periods. There is also an excellent selection of condominiums all within a few blocks of the Gulf (zoning regulations do not permit any condominiums to be located directly on the beach in the area south of the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club). If you prefer an older but well-maintained home, there are plenty of those around the area. If you favor a house with a more modern, sleek design, you’ll find that here, too. These homes often boast excellent indoor/outdoor flow, making them perfect for entertaining or enjoying the beach air from the comfort of your backyard.
One of the most appealing aspects of Old Naples, Florida, is that every east/west avenue ends at the beach, creating easy walking or biking access for all residents. Thus, it is no surprise that one of the favorite activities of the neighborhood is to go to the beaches at dusk to watch another glorious Southwest sunset. Most Americans must travel for hours to get to a beach. You could have one practically on your doorstep. Enjoy the ocean sounds lulling you to sleep at night, the gulf breeze or the call of the birds chirping in the morning around the coconut palms. Wander down for a relaxing stroll on the sand when you need to escape.
Here are some of the most beautiful beaches and parks:
- Delnor Wiggins State Park
- Seagate Beach
- Clam Pass Beach Park
- Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park
