Old Naples, Florida, is a charming area characterized by hundreds of coconut palm trees, with each avenue ending at the beach. Old Naples is truly a unique neighborhood with its history and variety of small cottages, beachfront estates, and everything in between. While you’re here, check out all homes for sale, including Icondos and villas. No matter what kind of space you’re looking for, you should be able to find it in Old Naples.

The variety is part of what makes it such a gorgeous location. Everywhere you turn, you’ll see different types of buildings. Old Naples is loosely defined as the area that extends from South Golf Drive southward to Aqualane Shores. However, the true “Olde Naples, Florida” refers primarily to the section around the Naples Pier. Old Naples has a storied history. It was named Naples as it reminded visitors of the gorgeous town of Naples, Italy. It was a winter retreat for the wealthy from all over to see the beauty of the bay.

Living in a community in quadrant A, you’ll spend no time getting to the beach. The Old Naples pier is in this quadrant, a nice visit. It’s the perfect place for those who enjoy a tranquil day out at the beach. The social butterflies will love being close to Fifth Avenue and Third Street South. With plenty of dining options to offer, you can meet friends for a catch-up over a cocktail or head out for a nice meal. The shoppers among you will have a blast checking out the latest fashions on display.

Quadrant B

Quadrant “B” is highly acclaimed because people love Old Naples beaches and find this location to be a little less crowded on the sand. This quadrant is still right by the beach, but areas in Quadrant B are further away from the shopping and dining district of 3rd Street South. Many who live here will often drive to dinner as opposed to taking a short stroll like residents in Quadrant A prefer.

Quadrant C

Quadrant “C” is located along Naples Bay, where boating enthusiasts can utilize the Naples Dock and boat launch. If you are a boater, you may prefer this location over quadrants “A” and “B.” You can head out on the water for a day of sea, fresh air, and sun! The Naples Sailing & Yacht club is in this area. They offer cruises that range from a nice sunset ride to a weekend journey to gorgeous destinations.

Quadrant “C” also provides proximity to Bayfront, another area where shopping, dining, and boating opportunities exist. Tin City, another tourist hot spot, is also located close by. Quadrant D

Quadrant "D" is in the northeast sector and contains the hospital, other city buildings, and some commercial properties. However, it’s still an excellent option as it’ll only take 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach. If you prefer to be located a little further from more of the tourist attractions of the seaside, this location will suit you well. Just on the other side, along the top half of quadrants “B” and “D,” is the Four Seasons Hotel (not yet completed). If you want to be within walking distance of a public golf course, you may prefer to be in one of those areas.

No matter which quadrant you select, you’ll never be too far from the Gulf coast beaches. Every part of Old Naples, FL, has its own unique charm. Whether you love a good market, an excellent restaurant, or a beautiful view, there’s an area to suit you.
