Pelican Bay Woods is the location where the first single-family homes were built in Pelican Bay. It's positioned on the south side of Pelican Bay off Pelican Bay Blvd. in North Naples, Florida. There are 115 single-family homes located in this subdivision.
New Construction
The first houses were completed in 1980, with construction continuing through the 1990s. Very few houses were newly constructed between 2000 and 2015. Teardown and new construction activities ramped dramatically, starting in 2016 and continuing through 2023. Many of the original homes were constructed featuring floor plans slightly ahead of their time, with attributes including higher ceilings or at least vaulted ceilings. Many have been through extensive renovations since.
During peak market conditions, you can expect more tear-down and new construction activity. Although many homes remain original, some feature significant updating, including increased size additions. Four-bedroom, four-bath designs are replacing the traditional three-bedroom, two-bath floor plans to accommodate more room for extended-stay friends and family.

Most of these homes are located on slightly larger lots than its sister subdivision, Oakmont at Pelican Bay. The majority of these houses back up to other properties. Homesites offering lake views and golf courses located away from busy roads will be valued more. Most owners here rely heavily on lush tropical landscaping for privacy and ambiance in their outside areas.

One of the great features is that most of these houses were originally custom-built, providing uniqueness in design and aesthetic value. Pelican Bay Woods is a beautiful neighborhood worth considering because of the oversized lots, meandering streets, mature trees, and beautiful vegetation.
