The Vanderbilt on Vanderbilt Beach located at 9235 Gulf Shore Drive is a luxury beachfront high-rise condominium completed in 2005 featuring 11 floors and 19 units. Considered a low-density building with only two units on each floor, plans offer at least 3,820 square feet for standard units and 4,316 feet for two penthouse residences. All units offer three bedrooms plus a den with three and one-half baths unless alterations to the original offering were made.
Unique Features and Amenities
Amenities include a resort-style pool, hot tub, fitness room, and grilling area. Unique features in this postmodernism building include code-accessible private elevators opening directly into each unit, secured underground parking behind an electric gate, and natural gas availability for cooking. Very few beachfront buildings in Naples offer natural gas! 9-foot ceilings are also an added benefit. Residents in The Vanderbilt enjoy two parking spaces, unincumbered Gulf of Mexico views, a west-facing Gulf-front lanai, and an east-facing lanai encompassing views of the Bay. The Turtle Club restaurant (a local favorite) is located next door. The Ritz Carlton is extremely close by.
Development of The Vanderbilt began construction in 2004 with Kraft Construction Company orchestrating the construction, Signature Communities Inc. as the developer and Crawford + Associates were responsible for the original design. My Architect Inc. completed the building design and the project was financed through Orion Bancorp, Inc.
Owners are permitted to keep two dogs not to exceed 35 pounds but are not permitted to lease their units.
Units in The Vanderbilt do not come on the market very often. If you like this building, I encourage you to act quickly on new offerings. Sancerre at the Moorings is a great alternative you may also consider.
