Chateaumere Historical Sales
The most notable sale in Chateaumere at Pelican Bay occurred when 6000 Pelican Bay Boulevard Penthouse Two sold furnished for $1,400,000. This unit took 216 days to sell and sold to a cash buyer in January 2006. Special features other than the fact it was a penthouse unit featuring 3,045 square feet included distant views of the Gulf of Mexico, a two-story living area, and glass railings. The property condition would have been what a majority of Chateaumere buyer prospects would have considered updated to the highest standards.
This same unit is currently pending and set to shatter the current record. Several improvements were made including new paint, an updated kitchen with high-end appliances, and new wood floors. Still, there were materials used that maybe would not have appealed to a good portion of the Pelican Bay buyer prospect base. It is currently pending sale with a price of $2,295,000. A contract was procured in two days of market time.
The record-breaker for a standard-sized unit occurred in November 2021 when 6000 Pelican Bay Boulevard #1002 sold unfurnished for $986,000. This unit was on the market 3 days before procuring a contract for $9,000 less than the full list price. Special features included a distant Gulf of Mexico view, remodeled kitchen, and baths.
The least expensive Chateaumere unit was sold on the open market when 6040 Pelican Bay #B-201 closed unfurnished for only $120,000. It took 331 days to sell and closed in February 1997. No visual representation other than a front elevation was disclosed but remarks mentioned the owner would consider an offer between $130,000 and $160,000.
