Most prospective buyers would have considered this condo to be in its original condition. Still, the marble floors appeared to be in good condition. They may have been salvaged during a renovation which could be a considerable saving to the new buyer who did not require a loan contingency and may have paid cash at closing.

Breaking The Record

To break the record in St. Raphael would be relatively easy. Perhaps the easiest way would be to choose a condo in the '04 or '05 stack (largest), a high floor with a great view, and undergo a renovation using popular high-end materials.
