As of April 2, 2024, the most notable sale in Calais at Pelican Bay closed in April 2022 when 7024 Pelican Bay Blvd #F-201 sold unfurnished for $1,475,000 after four days of market time. This condo had been remodeled, including new wood flooring, a new kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, and new bathrooms. Most Calais prospective buyers would have considered the property condition to be above average condition. John R. Wood Properties, Inc. marketed the listing.

2021 was the first time sales hit the million-dollar mark in Calais's history.

Breaking The Record

Breaking the sales record in Calais would require a renovation using popular high-end finishes and would likely require a golf course and/or lake view. A high floor in one of the mid-rise buildings may also be required. A tasteful furniture package could also assist with this endeavor. This sale would need to occur during favorable market conditions similar to what was experienced during the 2021-2022 peak market conditions.

The least expensive Calais condo closed in 1999 when 7000 Pelican Bay Blvd. #A103 was on the market for 103 days and sold unfurnished for $190,000 or nearly $10,000 off the full list price. No visual documentation was recorded regarding property conditions, but it was noted that Corian countertops, ceramic tile, and electric storm shutters were attributes in the offering.
