8930 Bay Colony Drive marks the address of this fabulous Bay Colony condominium. Salerno at Bay Colony is the westernmost building and positioned closest to the beach compared to Toscana and Marquesa.
A unique feature of Salerno is the size of the condos. They offer a little more square footage than most other high-rise buildings in Bay Colony. Condos start at 2,600 square feet and increase in size to over 5,200 square feet. The fabulous two-story penthouse condo featuring 20' ceilings is simply remarkable.
Salerno offers southwestern exposure, lending a hand to the beautiful views, including the Gulf of Mexico, Clam Pass, and sparkling city lights.
Salerno Amenities
Amenities include a full fitness room, social room, sunfilled pool, and spa. A grill area and two guest suites are also available for residents. Two guest suites can be reserved for guests on the amenity floor. 11 poolside cabanas were available for purchase when the building initially sold and are deeded with the condo of the owners who purchased them.
A 24-hour front desk doorman is available to greet guests and collect packages. Private elevators open directly to units. Normally two under-building parking spaces and a storage locker convey.
Salerno at Bay Colony Policies
- Owners are permitted to keep up to 2 dogs or cats not to exceed 25lbs. and no taller than '15 inches at the shoulder.
- Rentals are permitted three times per year with 90-day minimum stays.
Salerno Views
Views from Salerno at Bay Colony condos consist of upper Clam Pass and the Gulf of Mexico, starting with ribbon views on the 4th floor. Views from the 3rd floor down consist primarily of mangroves. There are pretty Bay Colony and city light views towards the left side of the visual frame and distant Park Shore lights at night. From the north side of the building, residents get Bay Colony views and distant Vanderbilt Beach and beyond lights at night.
Salerno Stack Preference
The Salerno at Bay Colony '01 and '04 stacks are slightly larger than the '02 and '03 stacks and offer great natural light but the special treasure of the end condos are the wrap-around lanais on both the front and back of the condos offering maximum outside space. The '04 stack is the most popular due to the close proximity of the Gulf of Mexico and views are considered far superior as there are no other high-rises located within a short distance to block views from this side of the building. '02 and '03 stacks show slightly darker for being interior units. The '01 stack views compete slightly with Toscana at Bay Colony due to the setback position of Salerno.
